Full Disk Access
DDCC can scan without Full Disk Access. If macOS blocks a folder, DDCC marks affected sizes with + or shows a message that some folders could not be read.
The banner at the top of the window means DDCC does not currently have Full Disk Access. Choose Open Settings, add DDCC under Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access, then quit and reopen DDCC if the banner remains.
Full Disk Access mainly improves completeness. DDCC targets developer caches and user-owned files that are usually readable without it. Protected system and app data may still be unavailable or shown only for information.
Grant Full Disk Access if you want the most complete scan DDCC can provide. Leave it off if you only want DDCC to inspect files available to ordinary apps.
