Terms of use

These terms cover this website. The software has its own licence, and that is the document that governs what you may do with DDCC.

The software

DevDriveCacheClean is made available under the Sustainable Use License, version 1.0, reproduced in full on the licence page. Downloading, installing or using the app means accepting that licence, including its acceptance and No Liability sections.

DDCC deletes files that you select. It moves them to the Trash by default, so most removals can be undone, but permanent deletion is available and some caches cannot be regenerated. The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the licensor accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from its use, including lost data and the cost of restoring it.

This website

The pages here are published for information. Every figure shown — totals, item counts, timings — comes from a scan of one particular machine, and yours will differ. Nothing on this site is a promise about what you will recover.

The site links to services I do not control, including GitHub and Ko-fi. Those services have their own terms and their own privacy practices.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to disrupt this site or the systems that serve it, or use it in a way that interferes with anyone else's use of it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you are using this site as a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in.

Changes

These terms may change. The version on this page is the current one, and there is no separate archive of earlier versions — the site's history is public in the repository if you need it.
